Its 03:38am I literally just got home, me and my boy decided to walk home (the No 8 bus is a JOKE after midnite trust)
Anyways If you missed this event you missed out. Where do I start.....The temperature must of been about -3. The que was LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!! people waiting for hours...not me though. Sorry it was to cold I just walk near the front and joined the que(I no its out of order but you would of done the same thing....right?)
Got in about 00:30am it was the best atmosphere Whitney 'I wanna dance with somebody' was getting the crowd hype.
It was like walking into the 90s again, gold rope chains, flat top haircuts it was like 'house party 4' lol. Good atmosphere, everyone smiling and dancing, someone steps on your feet they say, 'sorry' and buy YOU a drink. Its just an amazing night.
The DJ was 'KILLLIN IT' I heard songs that I thought I would never hear in a club.
When he played Snoop doggy dogg 'pump pump' the place went mad, that shows you the type of 'throwback' crowd your dealing with at a 'work it' event
Overall drinks were at a reasonable price,  the music was on point I think the night deserves a well appreciated.......

Where do I start....Last week I was getting ready to go out to the 90s club of all clubs 'WORK IT' Getting myself prepared for this 'Throwback' exciting night I had my laptop plugged into my TANNOY speakers playing all the great 90s Party Jams I could think of.
Top of the list were En vogue, a 14 year old Usher, SWV, TLC, Snoop,Montell Jordon...amongst many other Classics.
While watching the vids I felt an urge of sadness;'What the HECK has happened to authentic SoulFul Music????' with this on my mind I left out wid my peoples and enjoyed another great ol skool night out provided by the 'WORK IT' team.
The next day I was watching MTV base and I saw a group that had 'the 90s written all over them'. they kinda reminded me of cleopatra...but more unique, beauty authentic voices (no autotune) their marketing is on point, their style is throwback but still still fresh with it (Troy...The hat is unique im loving it very original,Tika reminds me of Aaliyah and Chronz your flow is amazing girl), I also like the fact that its three different ethnic groups, (black,white and mixed race...you cant go wrong) anyways 3 young ladies singing and rapping over the classic dead prez track 'hip hop' MY jaw dropped i went straight onto my laptop searched them downloaded their 'free' mixtape and loved EVERY track on the mixtape WOW...here they are;TLC,En Vogue,SWV wrapped up into one group.

I had a girlfried years ago and its like this song was our JAM...we would have it on repeat for hours, this is true 'westcoast' hiphop.

The truth is apparently that when he released his debut album 'domino' in 1993 it was thought that he had stolen up and coming rapper 'Snoop Doggy Dogg's' style, he tryed to come out with another album after but it was not a success.
